Join us, Ladies, for our November GLEAM evening!
We'll gather together as Sisters in Christ to enjoy an evening of FELLOWSHIP! Let's get to know one another better, share life with each other, and build relationships old and new!
GLEAM in November will be at the Corner Bakery in Town Center, just across from the Columbia Mall. Everyone will be able to choose their own dinners (and/or desserts!) and come and go as they are able. You can check out the menu here: https://www.cornerbakerycafe.com/
Please RSVP to Kathee by Saturday, November 11, so that she can let the restaurant know how many to expect in our group and to set aside just the right number of chairs and tables. (As I mentioned at our last GLEAM, the 13th is my birthday, so I will likely be out with my family. I'll miss you all and know you'll have a GREAT time with Kathee as your host!)
And remember that we will host a monthly GLEAM every 2nd Monday of the month!
Love, Pamela Fahs and Kathee Shoger

Join us November 11 for a one day in-house retreat/conference on
"Theological Fitness: Why We Need a Fighting Faith".
Your spiritual life should be a battle! The writer of Hebrews tells us to “hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering” (10:23 ESV). What (and whom) do we need to meet this challenge? How does simply “holding fast” turn into such a workout of faith? Author and blogger Aimee Byrd invites us to join her in some “theological fitness” training as she unpacks our call to perseverance and explores the great metaphor that physical fitness lends to theology. Learn about the “fighting grace” God has given us, and discover how we are equipped to live lives of obedience even amidst the suffering and irritations of ordinary life. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided.
