Financial Peace University, Wednesdays thru November 18th, 7-9 PM, Room 109
Do you have too much month at the end of the money? Are you in debt and are trying to climb out? Want to know how to budget or save for life goals? You are not alone. Most people are never taught money management skills. To change that, Financial Peace University begins this month to introduce the building blocks of a healthy financial life. Whether you are starting from scratch, wanting to revise your finances, or would like to investigate how to pay off your mortgage or properly insure yourself and family, this class covers it all. Starting 9/23, FPU meets on Wednesday nights from 7-9 PM for 9 weeks. It’s a small investment, and it can dramatically change your life! | REGISTER HERE

The World Missions Team is hosting a zoom call on Sunday, October 4th at 1:30 PM with MTW missionary to Ukraine Laura Ball. Laura serves with Reformed University Fellowship alongside the team in L’viv, discipling university students, recent graduates, and young women making the transition from school to career as they seek to find their place in the world and in Christian community.| REGISTER HERE

Tuesday Morning Bible Study
We are studying The Word of the Lord by Nancy Guthrie on Tuesday mornings this Fall. The classes will be held on Zoom, beginning on September 15th at 10 AM. REGISTER HERE.
Women’s Weekend – Rediscovering Our God of Wonders – October 9-10
Ladies! Join us for a weekend of rediscovering our God of Wonders! We will be having a music fest Friday evening, including a devotional, on the patio outside the community room on our campus. On Saturday we will gather at 1 PM for your choice of a hike with some elevation or a walk on a flat trail along the Patuxent River. At 4 PM we will host a picnic at Guilford Park Pavilion in Jessup, which has a beautiful pond. We will also have a devotional during our picnic. You can come to any or all of the events, but you must register for the picnic if you would like an individual boxed meal. Women’s ministry is covering the cost of your weekend. Come hang out at the park during the hike time if you’d like. We have a covered pavilion, but bring a chair to make social distancing easier.  Mark your calendars and bring a friend!  Register HERE.

Revolution ~ High School & Shine ~ Middle School
Meeting the 1st and 3rd  Friday of the month 7-9 PM. See calendar for meeting dates. 
Pioneer Girls starting in September, Wednesdays, 7-8:30 PM. for girls in grades 1-8. Please email Emily Brown to request a link to the registration page. Ice-cream Social will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 6:30 PM.  

Christian Service Brigade starting in September, Wednesdays at 7 PM. Programs are available for boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Tree-Climbers (1st & 2nd grade) and Stockade (3rd-6th grade), 7-8:30 PM; Battalion (7th-12th grade), 7-9 PM.


Meals Ministry
We need a willing servant or two to coordinate the Meals Ministry at CPC.  Please contact Leisa Hidey if you can help! Also, if you would like to be on the list of people who occasionally provide meals to our members and regular attenders after a birth or hospitalization, you can join the Group.

As we return to in-person services, we would love to have some (no-contact) greeters to make members and guests feel welcome! Contact the office to volunteer. 


We have started a Local Missions at CPC Group on the Planning Center. Members of this group receive periodic emails with prayer requests and updates from our various local missions supported by CPC. If you would like to join, please click HERE.  

The Route 1 Day Center Ministry is looking for a few more helpers and one team leader.  The commitment is 4 Saturdays a year.  If you are interested, please contact Rachel Schaefer. | MORE INFO


Moms in prayer for College-Age Students  Come pray with us!  Mom’s in Prayer for College Students (also includes military and career focus) meets Tuesdays at 1:30 – 2:30 through the school year.   Currently meeting outside at CPC with Zoom link option.  POC Sue Sciannella or Carole Degenford
