Children’s worship is available during the service.  Children are dismissed to CW after the offering/before the sermon. This weeks’ lesson is Prayer: Daniel 6 and the song is What a Friend We Have in Jesus.

  • Understanding Islam Seminar, October 19, 10-2PM. Dennis and Judy Blankenbeckler have been witnessing to Muslims for over 30 years and have worked as missionaries to Muslims for 21 years in Casablanca. Dennis is offering a seminar on how to witness to and show love for Muslims with the hope that they will come to believe in Jesus Christ. Consider attending this important conference. | Register Here
  • Operation Christmas Child will begin Sunday, October 20 and run through Sunday, November 17. A table will be set up in the lobby with materials and empty boxes available for pick-up.   Shoeboxes will be collected until Sunday, November 17.  

  • Salaam Center is collecting clothes and shoes to distribute to those in  need.  Drop donations off at the office by October 23.

  • Estate Planning Seminar, November 18. This seminar is presented by Rev. Bruce Owens, Mission to the World, Estate and Gift Design Department to help families find God’s plan of stewardship for their estates and to be wise managers of the resources He has entrusted to us.
    Topics included: reviewing your estate plans (at no cost to you); making estate planning spiritual before it is mechanical; protecting valuable relationships in your estate planning; moving tax dollars to dollars for ministry; avoiding common mistakes in retirement planning. Sunday Take-Down Team
We need a few strong backs for help with stacking chairs after Sunday morning worship service.  Teens and young adults are welcome to participate.  Please contact Eric Johnston. 

The English Language Ministry (ELM) is very much in need of childcare and registration helpers.  These volunteers serve on a rotating basis and do not need to come every week.  Teaching assistants are also always needed and welcome.  Please consider joining us in one of these important roles.  Contact Kory Tvedt if you are interested.

Children’s worship is in need of two new teachers. Teachers will teach two Sundays out of every six months, following an established curriculum. If interested, please contact Taylor Callicrate.


Pray for College Students
This group that meets on Tuesdays at 1PM (CPC Prayer room in lobby) to pray for college students and for colleges, in general. You are welcome to join us.  POC: Sue Sciannella

Theology & Worship Conference, hosted by Liberty Church PCA, Owings Mills, MD, November 1-3. The speaker is Jonathan Gibson, Associate Professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary.
