  • Summer Office Hours
    Beginning June 3 through August 26, the church office will be open on Mondays from 9-noon and Tuesday through Friday from 9-5.
  • Our Ministry Fair is August 25 and September 1 before and after Sunday worship.  This is an opportunity for leaders of existing CPC ministries to connect with members and regular attenders who might like to volunteer to serve in those ministries.
  • Grounds-keeping: Bush-whacking and weeding in the rear parking lot. We need 2 or 3 pick up trucks and 2 or 3 workers with battery or gas-powered equipment to cut the bushes close to the ground.  Also needed are additional persons to help with clean up. September 14, 8AM. Contact Esther Brian

Summer in the Word began the week of June 10. Join women in their homes around the county for a 10-week study in Genesis. There will be several groups, meeting in various locations on different days of the week, at different times. Sign up in the lobby on Sunday or contact the church office. See the groups here!

Tuesday Morning Bible Study (off for the summer)
Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will be starting up September 10 at 10am to 12.  We will be studying Nancy Guthrie’s The Son of David – Seeing Jesus in the Historical Books.  Please contact Sheila Nace by Sunday, August 18 to order a study guide.

Living Well is held 10-11:15AM on Saturdays. Classes will resume in September.

Sunday Take-Down Team
We need a few strong backs for help with stacking chairs after Sunday morning worship service.  Teens and young adults are welcome to participate.  Please contact Eric Johnston. 

Pioneer Girls is looking for leaders for the upcoming school year. 5-6th grade leaders, 1-2nd grade assistants leaders.

Children’s Worship
Volunteers (teachers and aides) needed for Children’s Worship. Teachers follow an established curriculum to guide children through the order of worship, and aides help teachers set up the classroom and keep kids on track. Teaching as a team is welcome, as are youth aide volunteers. Teachers volunteer twice in a six month period, and aides once every 8 weeks. For more information, please contact Taylor Callicrate.

Musicians Needed, diaconal ministry to Sunrise Assisted Living has an opportunity for musicians of almost any skill level to play hymns for a small weekly worship service held Sundays from 2-3PM. POC: Mike Espey



Monday evening prayer group  (off for the summer)
​Monday evenings, 7-8PM, at the Potter’s House (upstairs office).  All are welcome to come as you are able to join in praying for the needs of the church. If you have special prayer requests that you wish the group to pray for, please contact Jennie Murduck.
Pray for College Students (off for the summer)
Restarting September 3, 2019.   
This group that meets on Tuesdays at 1PM (CPC Prayer room in lobby) to pray for college students and for colleges, in general. You are welcome to join us.  POC: Sue Scianella

  • The Sunday morning Welcome slip has space on the back for prayer requests.  These requests are forwarded to the pastors and elders, and only shared with the prayer chain upon request.

CPC Marketplace is a Facebook group for the purpose of selling household items, giveaways, job opportunities, housing requests, advice on home projects, etc.  If you are not a member of Facebook, the office can post there for you with your contact information.  Join here.
