Our vision, To Experience and Extend the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, shapes our priorities as a church family. Serving as a framework for faithful ministry, here is what this looks like in practice.
To EXPERIENCE Grace: This is our foundation. We cannot give what we have not received. We experience God’s grace not as a one-time event but as a daily reality through:
- The Preached Word: Hearing Christ proclaimed from all Scripture.
- The Sacraments: Receiving the visible signs and seals of God’s covenant promises in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
- Prayer: Communing with our gracious Father through the mediation of Christ.
- Community: Practicing the “one-another” commands within the body of Christ.
To EXTEND Grace: This is our fruit. A heart transformed by grace inevitably overflows. We extend this grace in three concentric circles:
- To Columbia: We love our city as missionaries—serving our neighbors, seeking the welfare of our community, and proclaiming the gospel.
- To The Region: We partner with other PCA churches in our presbytery to strengthen gospel witness across the Midlands.
- To The World: We support global missions, sending and supporting laborers to make disciples of all nations.
