Katie’s Bio:

I became a volunteer leader with Young Life when I was a freshman at Grove City College in 2014. Since then, God has used Young Life in powerful ways in my own spiritual journey. By serving in this ministry, I have grown in my desire to serve the Lord, in my love for the lost (particularly lost students), and in my ability to present the Gospel. God has also made it clear to me that he has called me to be a missionary to the students of Howard County, and to go towards them in order to build genuine friendships. We offer students true relationships with no strings attached, and we provide safe spaces for them to have fun and simply be a kid. My prayer is that as I continue to build relationships with students, God will grant me opportunities to share the truth of the Gospel, and that the Holy Spirit will convict them of their sin and their need of a savior.

I married my husband, Nathaniel, in October of 2021, and we both desire that our lives would be used to serve the Lord. He also feels called to minister to students, both as a teacher and as a leader in Christian Service Brigade. We are blessed to be members of CPC, and we are excited to see how God will use our lives for His glory!
