THIS WEEK

Our facility will be closed this week. We will be live streaming our worship service again on March 22 at 10:30AM via our YouTube channel.

We are monitoring updates from CDC and Health Departments. We will be sure to communicate promptly how Columbia Pres may be impacted going forward. Howard County has its first confirmed case of COVID-19. Please pray diligently for our community – for health care providers, first responders, and elected officials.

Pastor PD Mayfield will be emailing our Community Group Leaders and Parish Team Leaders with more information. | MORE INFO: Parish Regions

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.” (1 John 3:11 ESV)

And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.” (1 John 3:23 ESV)

NEW EMAIL FOR CARE TASK FORCE

We have created an email address to capture needs that may directly involve our church family (i.e., assistance to get medications, food, supplies, or other needs). Those needs will be dispersed to our Deacons, Elders, Pastors, and other Parish Team Leaders. Let us know how we can serve. | EMAIL: [email protected]

“For One Who Holds Power”

May the gift of leadership awaken in you as a vocation,
Keep you mindful of the providence that calls you to serve.

As high over the mountains the eagle spreads its wings,
May your perspective be larger than the view from the foothills.

When the way is flat and dull in times of gray endurance,
May your imagination continue to evoke horizons.
When illness spreads in times of disease,
May you be blessed to find a cure.
May you have the wisdom to read time clearly
And know when the seed of change will flourish.
In your heart may there be a sanctuary
For the stillness where clarity is born.
May your work be infused with passion and creativity
And have the wisdom to balance compassion and challenge.
