This fall we have been looking at the “Sermon on the Mount.” We are exploring Jesus teaching his disciples about living in His kingdom, and I mentioned several reflective question in my sermon on Matthew 5:17-26.
4 Reflective Questions:
- How might you be maximizing what they have done? How might you be minimizing what you are doing? This can reduce the process to be merely between them and God.
- How might you be minimizing what they have done? How might you be maximizing what you have done? This can reduce the process to be merely between you and God.
- What are challenges or obstacles you are facing? How might you be sabotaging, neglecting, avoiding reconciliation?
- What is the next step you could take toward reconciliation (involving you, them, and God)? Who do you need to help you navigate the process?
