Inclement Weather Policy

For inclement weather, CPC will follow the ruling of Howard County Public School System closures. If the schools are closed, the facilities will be closed and all activities at the CPC facilities will be cancelled.  If the schools have a delayed opening, CPC facilities will open at 9:00 a.m. for a one-hour delay and 10:00 a.m. for a two-hour delay.  If HCPSS announces that evening activities are cancelled, the same will hold true for activities at the CPC facilities.

In the event there is no school closure to follow, such as on Saturdays and Sundays, the CPC administrative and pastoral staff will determine if the facilities need to be closed and activities cancelled due to weather and related safety concerns.

All closings will be posted on the CPC web page and phone message system.
