SHINE for Middle Schoolers

On the 1st and 3rd Friday evenings of each month during the school year, SHINE meets for games, fellowship, and a lesson from God's Word, or occasionally the group goes on a "Destination Unknown," a road trip adventure that is action packed and full of fun challenges and things to do, yet brings home a meaningful lesson at the end.

One highlight of the middle school ministry is the Big Kahuna overnighter, which happens each November. This all-night, extreme overnighter gives middle schoolers a chance to hang out together and with their leaders and parents as they go swimming, ice skating, ball-playing, and anything else scheduled for that year. Lessons and truths are discovered along the way as the middle schoolers tackle obstacle courses, games or other projects. Whatever you do, don't miss the Kahuna this year!
