Our Blog Sermons
Christian faith, in fact, is born & grows inside a community.
Community

We recognize that our Christian life is best lived in community. The Bible teaches us the consistent message that we are not alone. God describes the church as a body, as a city, as a house. We are united to each other through our relationship with Jesus and with God the Father.

plus/minus sign Ministries
Columbia Presbyterian Church ministers to the Body of Christ locally, reaches out to the community in Howard County, and serves the Lord throughout the world.

plus/minus sign Events & Registration
Many events here at CPC fall into two categories: an RSVP category and a Registration Required category. Each event will clearly state whether it is an "RSVP" event or a "Registration Required" event.

plus/minus sign Home Fellowship Groups
At Columbia Presbyterian we are committed to providing opportunities for our congregation to live in community.  We offer everyone at CPC an opportunity to belong to a smaller, more intimate community.  We call these "Home Fellowship Groups ". These are 8 to 15 people who meet regularly for worship, study, and fellowship. We hope you will not only join us for worship on Sunday, but also will visit a Home Fellowship Group and experience life and growth in intimate community.

plus/minus sign World Missions
A key goal of the World Missions Task Force is for the people of CPC to embrace the Great Commission in their lives and see how God wants them to be a part of His global purpose of redeeming a people for Himself from every tongue and people group. There are souls to be won, not only in the neighborhoods of Columbia and the United States, but in the teeming cities and remote jungle villages of far away places. In 2009, with God's leading, we are seeking to do this by sending teams from our congregation to serve Christ abroad.
